STALL OF HONESTY (LITERAL MEANING)

Have you ever imagined trusting your property or goods or money to many people whom you don’t acknowledge well? It really happens in the factory where I’m working. The stalls where these ladies sell her food and snacks do not have CCTV or hidden camera. They trust their merchandise by believing that we, the buyers, are all honest and do not steal from them.

The factory where I’m working is a manufacturer of hairpieces/wig/hair replacement. It starts at 7.20 am until 3.30 pm. In the morning, there are many ladies, who mostly work as ventilators, earn more money by selling foods or snacks. Above picture shows the situation in the morning. They use tables along the corridor to spread out their merchandise. SOFU took the pic at 6.30 am.

These are some merchandises/snacks that they sell

It’s easy to imagine the trade process when the seller is available to serve the buyer directly. However, when the working time starts, they just leave their merchandise still on the table outside. We have break time at 9.40 am then they can sell their merchandise again.
It’s break time where workers enjoy snack or have breakfast along the corridor

The working time for ventilators is up to 4.30 pm where it is only up to 3.30 pm for some workers in other department. They, who are off earlier, may buy this merchandise even when the seller is not available. The seller provides a jar where we can put our money into. Mostly, the snacks costs Rp 500,- or Rp 1.000,-.

That’s why my friend said that it is STALL OF HONESTY “toko kejujuran” since whoever buys the merchandise; he/she must be honest. We do not relay on CCTV to watch them stealing or not. However, they must know that God is available to watch us doing honest or false thing ^^
My friend, mba Nurul, posed in front of the stall for helping me taking picturea. We took the pictures on our way to the toilet ^^

Taare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par ~ “Like Stars on Earth” (released 21 December 2007) is another movie from Aamir Khan that I adore after Three Idiots and Ghajini . It is really really really a touching and beautiful movie. It tells about an eight-year-old-boy, named Ishaan, who is dyslexic but blessed with excellent painting talent. Taare Zameen Par received numerous awards, including the Filmfare Best Film Award for 2008 and the 2008 National Film Award for Best Film on Family Welfare . It was India's official entry for the 2009 Academy Awards Best Foreign Film but it failed to progress to the nominations short list.

REBELDE WAY

Last many days my friend, Novalia ‘Colluci’, messaged me. She asked if the wife of Michele Buble is the actress who played as Mia Colluci on Rebeldeway. On the next day I googled and found out that she is indeed Luisana Lopilato!

THE HEIRS – BANYUMASAN CARTOON VERSION

This is my favorite comedy scene from The Heirs drama taken from episode 16. It’s when article about Kim Tan as the second child of President Kim as well as the main holder of Jeguk Group was spread on the internet. Even reporters came to Jeguk School to interview other students. Two Yellow reporters appeared before Cha Eun-sang that morning and asked question about Kim Tan. Feeling burdensome, Cha Eun-sang couldn’t move away. Suddenly Choi Young-do and Jo Myung-soo came and saved her. Here is the short dialogue from that scene but in Banyumas language. People called it “bahasa ngapak”, even you can laugh just by hearing it. I’m inspired making this by comedy program “Kartun Banyumasan” which is aired by TVRI station. Reporter: Mbake, ngerti nek Kim Tan mangkat sekolah dina kie ora?
