Here I present the English translation for RAN's song entitled "Dekat di Hati". This is a ballad song with a deep meaning for you and me who are in long distance relationship. With the help of my dear friend Mz. Ita, below translation has been edited as much as we could ^^

I smile when my phone ringing in the morning
Kau bercerita semalam kita bertemu dalam mimpi
You told me last night we met in your dream
Entah mengapa aku merasakan hadirmu di sini
Don’t know why I felt your present then
Tawa candamu menghibur saat ku sendiri
Your laugh cheers me up when I’m alone

Aku di sini dan kau di sana
I’m here and you are there far
Hanya berjumpa via suara
We meet only via phone
Namun ku slalu menuggu saat kita akan berjumpa

Meski kau kini jauh di sana

Ada yang mengartikan puisi ini sebagai curahan hati seorang "secret admirer"..., atau curcolnya orang yang mengalami "one sided love"..., atau tentang orang yang kehilangan seseorang yang dicintainya..., or even about "a forbidden love"... Tapi aku sukak puisi ini dan ga bisa setuju sama salah satu dari empat makna puisi di atas.
