Durian Durian


It’s not a successful English new wave/synthpop band of the 1980s. **That’s Duran Duran. It’s also not a cool widower a.k.a DUREN **That’s an abbreviation for Bahasa’s word DUda keRen.

Durian (derived from word duri, means thorn) is a yellow-spiky fruit with delicate flesh and strong odor. However, some people may find its distinctive odor disgusting.

Indonesia is the native distribution of the Durio zibethinus (edible species of Durio). I’m proudly present Banyumas, regency in Central Java, as the local region of durian. And will happily boast the delicious es duren from Purbalingga, Central Java ^^


IDR 15,000 I’m drooling! The chunk of the durian is super delicious! So sweet and freezing! I can’t stop drinking it lolz^^



It’s how the restaurant look likes from the outside. Old, small, blue, crowded. It’s located in the front of Pasar Badog (food market), before Jembatan Kali Klawing (Klawing river bridge).This place is also known as ‘es duren Bancar’ **es=ice, duren=durian, Bancar=the name of the village.







Quite small and narrow room. People were in deep enjoying the ‘es duren’.



Just next to this place, there is another legend of restaurant. With IDR 12,000, you can enjoy a bowl of tasty one giant meatball with two different textures and meat filling.


With these duet food and beverage, it will kill your stomach deliciously ^^ #mayuhdolanpurbalingga

I want to Love You Simply
