Frozen – Finding True Love

“Frozen” is a-2013 Disney production of musical animation which tells about Arendelle kingdom which has Elsa princess who can witch snow/ice. When she was a child, she accidentally hurt her little sister, Anna, with her magic. Since then, she locked herself in her room and creates distance with all people, including Anna.

Not until their parents death that they open the castle gate 3 years later on Coronation Day. Anna was so happy in the party after her loneliness in forever. She also fell in love with prince Hans whom she just met that day. It’s when they asked her bless and Anna pushed her that Elsa lose her control revealing the secret she kept.

People were afraid of her ability that Elsa escaped to the North Mountain and built her own beautiful ice castle. Anna chased her and met Kristoff and his reindeer, Sven, in her journey. They helped out Anna until she met Elsa finally.

Anna persuaded Elsa to come back and told her that Arendelle was in deep deep deep snow since she left. Feeling worse, Elsa once more lost her control and hurt Anna in her heart now.

Kristoff took Anna back to Arendelle to meet Hans since the only cure is getting a kiss from a true love. They were wrong and even Hans betrayed her with his cruel plan to take over Arendelle. The snowman, Olaf, helped her out of the castle to look for Kristoff who was now believed as Anna’s true love.

On her way running to Kristoff, Anna saw Hans who was going to stab Elsa from her back. She run before him and blocked the knife. Suddenly, she changed into an ice statue for her injury worsens. Seeing her sister, Elsa cried and hugged Anna. Magically, Anna turned to normal and even her all white hair changed into brown again.

“… You sacrificed yourself for me?”
“… I love you”

An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart.

Also with love that Elsa was able to get rid of the snow and brought back summer for Arendelle.

“Frozen” tells us that true love not only happens to couple but also sisters and brothers ^^ P.S. When summer comes, will Olaf becomes the happiest snowman or a pond?

Taare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par ~ “Like Stars on Earth” (released 21 December 2007) is another movie from Aamir Khan that I adore after Three Idiots and Ghajini . It is really really really a touching and beautiful movie. It tells about an eight-year-old-boy, named Ishaan, who is dyslexic but blessed with excellent painting talent. Taare Zameen Par received numerous awards, including the Filmfare Best Film Award for 2008 and the 2008 National Film Award for Best Film on Family Welfare . It was India's official entry for the 2009 Academy Awards Best Foreign Film but it failed to progress to the nominations short list.

Last many days my friend, Novalia ‘Colluci’, messaged me. She asked if the wife of Michele Buble is the actress who played as Mia Colluci on Rebeldeway. On the next day I googled and found out that she is indeed Luisana Lopilato!

TTAKJI

Ttakji ( 딱지 ) is a Korean traditional game using square-folded-paper aiming to flip your opponent’s ttakji. Men and women, children and adults can play it. I have watched Running Men enough to be curious about this game. It seems simple and easy but … First, of course, you need to make your own ttakji by the following: STEP 1: You can use any kind of paper. Prepare two pieces of square-paper in 21 cm. do the following steps for both paper pieces. Fold it into half forming a rectangle. STEP 2: Fold the top corner down and the opposite’s corner up forming a parallelogram. STEP 3: Again fold the top corner down and the opposite’s corner up forming a square. STEP 4: Put one paper on the other. Fold the triangle-corner inside one by one in anti-clockwise-movement so they hold each other. STEP 5: Slip the last triangle-corner inside so they don’t lose. Mark one side. Tadaa! You have a ttakji now ^^ Let’s challenge a frie...
